Dear CatholicSingles.Com,
Mike and I met on CatholicSingles.com in January 2012 and a Nuptial Mass was celebrated on October 5, 2014. We are so grateful to God that through your website we found each other. We want to thank you by sharing our story and hopefully inspire others.
How we met...
Her version:
A dare to create a profile on CatholicSingles.com led to a cup of coffee invite from Mike. I was very hesitant as Mike lived two hours away from New York City. A series of e-mails followed in the four months before I agreed to meet Mike in person. We met on a very hot and humid Memorial Day Weekend in NYC. I had "Plan B" just in case I needed to jet out. In a span of seven hours, we talked over coffee, attended a Vigil Mass at St. Patrick's Cathedral and talked some more over dinner in Chinatown. We have been inseparable ever since. We got engaged two years after we met. We didn’t want a long engagement and was able to pull through wedding plans in a few short months. We recently got married in Poughkeepsie, NY.
His version:
One of my brothers encouraged me to try online dating. I was very hesitant but decided to give it a shot, thus, creating a trial profile on CatholicSingles.com. After a month or two, I was ready to close my account when Anna’s picture popped-up as a suggested match. I was the total opposite of her profile but I thought I’d go for it anyway; hence, I invited her for coffee. Anna declined and suggested we get to know each other first “online.” Four months later, she finally agreed to meet me in person. I planned to stay for an hour and even had an emergency back-up plan. We parted ways seven hours later. We have been together ever since and were recently married.
Thank you CatholicSingles for the services you provide and bringing us together!
God bless!
Anna & Mike
